To help Law Enforcement Agencies to understand the location of the subscriber, Group
2000 built the LIMA Silent SMS solution. With LIMA Silent SMS a silent SMS can be send to a phone number, which will trigger the phone to generate network activity and, if targeted correctly, it will provide a location update in the monitoring center. Obviously, the silent SMS is not traceable on the target’s device, hence the target is not alerted.
