LIMA Academy provides a full range of training courses aimed at providing participants with the knowledge required to use, administrate and maintain Group 2000 LIMA solutions successfully. The courses are given at the Group 2000 training facility in Almelo, the Netherlands but can also be given as a webinar or on-site training.

An intake will take place for each course given to determine the exact training needs. Based on the needs, customer-specific training will be put together consisting of (parts of) the default training courses from LIMA Academy.

The building blocks of LIMA Academy are:

  • LIMA Lawful Intercept Operator Course
    The LIMA Lawful Intercept Operator Course gives an introduction to the Lawful Intercept concept with the common terminology used, the general concept of the LIMA Management System, and focuses on adding and maintaining interceptions and/or warrants in the LIMA Management System.
  • LIMA Lawful Intercept Administrator Course
    The LIMA Lawful Intercept Administrator Course focuses on all configurable aspects of the LIMA Management System and their influence on the operation of the system. The main focus will be on configuring and maintaining all elements in the customers network involved in the implementation of Lawful Interception.
  • LIMA Lawful Intercept Tier 1 & Tier 2 Incident Handling Course
    For solutions where Group 2000 has no remote access to the operational system, it is necessary that a partner or customer can act as eyes on the system. The LIMA Lawful Intercept Tier 1 & Tier 2 Incident Handling Course is intended to provide deeper knowledge on how to analyse and solve Tier 1 and Tier 2 incidents on a LIMA Lawful Intercept system. This training is aimed at technical personnel with prior knowledge of Linux operating systems.
  • LIMA Disclosure Management Operator Course
    The LIMA Disclosure Management Operator Course is roughly similar to the Lawful Intercept variant but with a focus on Lawful Disclosure rather than Lawful Interception.

Additionally, if needed, customer-specific components can be added to a training to cover i.e., customised workflows used in the LIMA Management System.
